Acquisition – SP Moulding A/S, a subsidiary in SP Group A/S, acquires Sander Tech ApS

Today, SP Moulding A/S takes over the shares in Sander Tech ApS.

Sander Tech ApS has its roots back in 1934, as August Sander established A. Sander’s Bakelite- & Plastikfabrik – later Sander Plast A/S – now Sander Tech ApS and is therefore one of the oldest companies in plastics in Denmark.

Sander Tech ApS is a highly specialized and focused injection moulding company with focus on wind energy and is situated in Nibe.

SP Moulding A/S is one of the leading injection moulding companies with global sales from production facilities in Denmark, Poland and China. SP Moulding has more than 300 injection moulding machines with clamping forces ranging from 25 tonnes to 1300 tonnes. Among these two- and three-components injection moulding machines with robots.

SP Moulding seeks to act as an innovative, reliable and competitive partner for its customers.

Sander Tech will continue as a subsidiary of SP Moulding. Jens Birklund Andersen will be the new manager of Sander Tech and keeps at the same time his position as manager of SP Moulding in Stoholm. In future the customers will be served by SP Moulding’s customer service function in Stoholm. Here the technical support is located as well.

From now on Seller will focus on development and sales of new products through the company Power Curve. Martin Vendelbjerg Henriksen and Per Traunholm inform that the products will be manufactured at Sander Tech and SP Moulding.

SP Moulding is part of SP Group A/S, which primarily manufactures moulded plastic as well as coatings. SP Group is a leading supplier of plastic manufactured products for the industry in Denmark and has significant exports and production from own factories abroad. SP Group is listed on NASDAQ Copenhagen and has approximately 1,200 employees.

The acquisition of Sander Tech is expected to contribute positively to SP Group’s revenue and earnings this year and in future and will be included in the announcements for 2015, which are published on 26 March 2015.

Incase of any discrepancies, the Danish version shall prevail.
